Join our Mycophiles + Experts on mushroom forays in Jackson State Forest. We will meet up in Van Damme State Park at 8:30 A.M. to Carpool to foraging sites. Afterwards enjoy a post foray warm up with Mendo Sauna on Van Damme Beach.
What to bring:
Rain Gear, Warm Layers, Appropriate Hiking Shoes, ID, Water, Snacks, Charged Cell Phone, Mushroom Collecting Basket or Bags, Mushroom Knife, Foraging Permit, JDSF ID/Parking Placard, Bathing Suit (optional) and Towel for Post Foray Sauna, An Adventurous Attitude.
